Recap: National Weatherization Day

The Resource Center kicked off its weatherization program, Helping Up, on Sunday 30 October 2011.  Ten homes in Sunnyside were provided nearly $200 of energy retrofits, which were installed by skilled volunteers from organizations like U.S. Green Building Council and Preserve Historic Forsyth.  The Resource Center set up shop in the fellowship hall at Trinity Moravian Church, where volunteers met, enjoyed coffee, and received direction from staff.  It was an exciting day for the Resource Center, volunteers, and homeowners alike.  You can find media from the event below.  Thanks to WFMY2, WGHP8, and WSTV13 for the coverage!
